power brake conversion set up
i am going to run a c4 in my 49 f1. the question i have is , i see in some catalog's a crossmember that the stock master cylinder mounts too with useing a c4 trans. that put's mounting the crossmember in stock location so the brake pedel will be in stock position. has anybody used this crossmember with the power brake set up. if so did you run into any trouble , anybody run this set up and what did you use. thank's

I have a c4 tranny and power brakes.I had to use the stock crossmember.I cut it out for my c4 and made my mounting plate.Only took 2 or 3 hours.I could not find any crossmember that would let me run a c4 tranny, power brakes, and stock pedals in stock location.I wanted my pedals in the floor.Hope this helps.
