what would i need to purchase to add brakes to a 20'+ old boat trailer i'm planning on converting into a flat bed? i have the controlle in my truck, but what do i need to do to the trailer? i know, drums, brake assemblies, but what else? how hard is it to add brakes, and would i be better off buying a new trailer with brakes already on it.
running gear? i'm guessin that means what does it have on it being towed? jsut the contents of my room. bed, desk, speakers, futon, chair, washing machine. if your refering to the axle and tires that are on the trailer? i haven't a clue. would have to ask my dad.
yeah, not totally sure on the axle/hub cinfiguration. the trailer belongs to a 21' 1979 tri-hull boat with a 175HP V-6 on it, so its gotta be pretty hefty. i'll ask my dad at some point today if he knows...
