I don't have any experience with Nitto's but Toyo makes a nice M/T in the size you're looking for. I have 37" Toyo A/T's now and they perform exceptionally well in the snow, not sure about the M/T's though (although they are decently siped). I haven't heard much about the Pro Comps and what I have heard hasn't been good.

Nope, mine are on 17x10's. The tires are actually a 37x14.00 which would be too wide for a 8" rim.

The Nitto tires look really good but they are VERY loud, you will have trouble listening to the radio with those tires

Agree and disagree with this. I just put nitto terra grapplers on my 05 f350. They are the 325/65/18 (35x13) on stock wheels. The tire noise is definitly noticable, don't get me wrong, but it is hardly noticable over my diesel, and definitly not noticeable over the radio. They so far are an excellent all terrain tire.

caddy-cat - i would say go with the nitto terra grapplers, overall seem to be a good tire, if you can put up with minimal noise, definitly less then any mud tire ive ever heard. BTW, my suspension is stock and the tires don't rub.

KTplotts those tires look GREAT on your truck. I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to throw on my truck to replace the contimentals... those look great.

I'm kinda between those and the procome extreme at's.

Did you have to have your speedo recalibrated (or noting your gallery, did you just use your scmt and adjust for bigger tires?)

caddy-cat, check out this thread for the pro-comp tires that would fit your rims etc.

I have the terra grappler a/t and love them. Went to canada this winter and hit alot of snow, no problems at all. The tires stuck great in the snow. They are not loud at all either. I don't even hear them. Plus they look great.

Milwaukee - thanks for the compliments. I havn't adjusted the speedo yet, didn't know i could with my tuner. I lost the manual and the box says for only some applications. Its only off by 4% anyway, i'll get it done though. The procomps are a good bit more expensive and i don't really like the tread design on them.

just put some more pictures up here. http://photobucket.com/albums/e128/ktplotts/

BTW, those are 33x12.50's on a stock ranger with no rubbing.

What type of wheels are those, and how much did they run? I want to get new ones sometime.

Yeah, I think from a looks standpoint I like the pro-comps about the same as the nitto's...

And the nitto's are so much less expensive. Don't know if I could justify going to the pro-comps.

I like the pro comps. just not any more then the nitto's to pay extra for.

Thanks for the pics!

Have you noticed any difference in driveability? shift-points, gas mileage etc?

The Nittos are a little noisy but they ride very smooth and track straight as an arrow. So far excellent waer patterns. And they are very happy with 12000lbs of 5th wheel behind them.

Get the Nitto's, just don't ever take them off-road- they're junk.
