power steering

when I go around a corner my steering wheel does'nt center again when the truck straighten's out. It seems to turn ok but is there something wrong with it ? Thanks

Have you raised it way up with a lift kit? The caster is what helps make it return to center. Also make sure your joints are moving freely.

what truck do you have? 4x4? 2x4? year I know in 77 on 4x4 the tie rod and drag link was the old "Y" shape but in 78 79 went to the drag link being much longer and attaching near the pasenger tire and were much more heavy duty. I changed out all my steering linkages on my 77 f150 4x4 with that of a 78 Bronco. Everything had to be changed out including the pitman arm and also I needed to change the worn bushings on the track bar.
