what tranny?
I am looking at buying a 1983 ford f150 with 4.9 and 4 speed on the net for the tranny. What transmission would be in this truck (np435, t19 , or other)? thanks

mite have a t-18 a t-19 is bigger & has granny low first gear

Could be one of fords 3 speed with od rug tranies . Some people dont know they actualy have a 3 speed because of the 4th gear.
