Question Injector o rings

Can anybody tell me where to get the o-rings off of the net? I did oil chnge and fuel filter also. When I pulled out the fuel filter it was covered with oil. I changed the coolant last week and it showed no signs of oil. I assumme just the o-rings are bad? Is there any thing else that I should replace and check out while I am in there?

Why not just get them from the local Ford Dealer. I bought a set of 16 for about $16 US. Not worth farting around and possibly ending up with the wrong material that swells up or cracks when exposed to the fuel.

Hamberger, are you referring to the o-ring kits that seal the high pressure oil passages on the exterior of the injectors, or just some plain rubber o-rings? I bought the kits' from my international dealer when i pulled the injectors out in my 95 F250, and they were $18 per cylinder at the time. If you can get that good a deal, you should start selling them on eBay.

94-1/2 Stroker, speaking of ebay, you could do a search there. You could try Swamps, www.swampsdiesel.com, or Beans, www.beansdieselperformance.com, they do a lot of injector sales, so should be able to set you up with the kits.

Here's a catalog from a place that sells a lot of injector parts, but you'll probably have to find one of their distributors.
http://www.dipaco.com/update/catalogs/PWSHEUIV1.2.pdf

Then again, you could also head down to you local International truck dealer. Tell them it's for a T444E engine, and they'll get you what you want. If you need it, i could probably find the part number quick enough for you. I think i kept the old o-rings in the plastic baggies the new ones came in, and the part numbers will be on them. I'd just have to hunt them down in the storage shop.

you are able to buy from dipaco if you set up an account.

i would check out powerstrokeshop.com(ford dealer that sells at cost) i thenk they are around 10 bucks a set.

if you cant find a good deal i will be at dipaco in a few days to get some new solenoids and possibly some plunger and barrels/ intensifier pistons for AC codes...

they are in sparks nv (reno)

My appologies, you guys are in a totally different world. I was thinking of the return line orings on the 94, you got one of those pre-powerstroke 94 1/2.

Good luck, I hear the first powerstrokes had their share of challenges, I shall now return to the IDI Forum.

Thanks for the replies guys. I would have gotten back sooner but my computer crashed on me sunday and I just got it back. I think I am going to go with swamps o-ring kits. Only $10 each for all eight injectors. I looked around here and they were trying to sell me just one o-ring at a dollar each per injector. I think they are just replacing the one leaking the oil and not all of them? If I am going to take them out might as well do them all.

Timberjack, I was looking on ebay and found this set of o-rings(item #8032577719). Are these the right ones? I was reading Steve Baz's web site and found this #F8TZ-9229-AA for the latest o-rings. The ones on ebay have #CM-5010 XC3Z-9229-AB. They only want $6.99 for one set of six. Thanks for the help!

(Ford) XC3Z-9229-AA
(International) 1833564C91

this is what i see on joats page. dont know if these are the most recent or not. but usually if a part has been updated it will direct the person to it or it will automatically change it for you in the system.

i looked at your ebay auction and you will need 8 of those packages if you plan to do all 8 injectors.

btw i think those are the updated ones when they have the pink oring. hopefully someone will come along who knows for sure.

a few other places you could get em for fairly cheap
beans
swamps
powerstrokeshop.com (ford dealer sells at cost)
international
blackcloud diesel
dipaco
any of those should be able to help you.

Thanks again 1997! I'm still trying to find out which ones to get. I want to make sure I get the right ones. I'd hate to do this twice. Around here a full kit is going for $16-$24. The ones on ebay are only $6.99 each, but if they are not the right ones it would be wasted money. Still looking.

Yes Jimkidd that is per injector. $16 from international and $24 from ford. But they are also saying to replace just one o-ring for a dollar each. Shouldn't I replace all of them?
