Bronco motor swap
A buddy of mine gave me two broncos, both 90's. One has a 300I with a crack engine block. It also has a auto tranny. The other bronco has a solid 302 with an automatic tranny that I would like to put into the bronco with the cracked 300I since the body is in very good condition. I know that you have to swap out the motor mounts/brackets, but what else do you need to swap? The wiring harness? Is a a huge job to do?

hey, helped a buddy do similar swap couple years ago, if i remember right, swap ecm and engine wiring harness, fuel lines and tranny bolt right up, swap rad while your at it. if you want tach to work properly, need to replace cluster with v8, some factory tachs have diff pins on back depending on what combo engine was in it. shouldnt be too difficult. i think it took us like 2-3 days.
