I have a '92 F-150 with a 5.0L, and I am having idle problems. Pulling the codes are pointing to the EGR valve and EVP. Today I was at the wreckers and picked one off a 90 F150, 5.0L, and was wondering if it would be the same as my '92.
The EGR looked like it was replaced shortly before the vehicle came off the road. The EGR tube looked new too. Thought it was worth a shot, easy to change to find out and see. Just alot of the listings I see have a separate one shown for 92-96. I can't find a Ford part number to cross ref. it, just to be absolutely sure.
