Hey BIGSIXGUY, S.O.S!!
You told me about the availablity of cab bushing plates a couple of weeks ago. You stated that they are available for $15 each in Canada Funds.
Can you direct me where did you get that pricing from? I live in Canada too. Specifically Calgary, if that helps!
Hey thanks for your help in this matter!
Terry M
Been on holidays, sorry that I missed your post.
The cab mount bushing plates, washers and bolts are available from Universal Ford in Calgary, they are dealer parts and can be in stock in a real hurry if need be. I get my stuff sent to their outlet in Strathmore (where I live) or pick it up on my way home from work (Mount Royal College).
Hope this helps, and isn't too late!
Cheers,

I picked up the front washers/nuts for around $17.00 at Metro Ford. Gerry the parts guy there told me the rears are about $40.00 each. I'd be more likely to trust him than the parts guys at Universal, they told me that bellcrank bushings were around $40.00 each but that was for a bag of 10! When they converted from Ford Truck to Sterling numbers, they changed the unit from each to bag of 10. Once I got that sorted out, it cost me about $30.00 to get my bellcrank and clutch working like new, instead of the $100.00+ they originally quoted.
Looking at the fronts, I can't see why you would have to pay that amount when I think that a large washer, a nut and a spacer/collar would do the same thing. If all the parts were current and in stock at a Ford dealer, it would cost around $600 - $800 to redo the cab and rad support mounts. I spent $89.00 for the urethane bushings and another 17.00 for the nuts/washers. Another 3.00 for common hardware for the rad support mounts (nuts, bolts and wide washers) and then what I need to do the rears would probably be about the same. Save the bolts if at all possible, they are the right length.
My cab mounts are soo badly rusted in that I'll be using a Sawzall to cut out the old mounts.. I've heard others remark in the other forums that this is a bitch of a job if they are rusted, I would have to concur heartily! Good luck with yours.
