Found something strange

Ok...my truck has the 117" wheel base to it and is 4wd. Now I was talkiing to a couple of kids last night and they were telling me my driveshaft was on backwards. So today I got out my book and all and sure enough. The damn thing is backwards. The yoke is at the rear axle instead of up by the transfer case. Now I just got this truck about two or three months ago so I'm still finding things new and wrong with it.
I've taken the truck off roading hill climbing, long trips and stuff and haven't had a problem with it. Is have the driveshaft on backwards like that going to hurt anything or should I go ahead and flip it?

It had to go on one end or the other, so top just seems to make more sense to me, but I see no reason it will not function; one thing that does come to mind is that perhaps the slip is put up at the top so that when you go mudding the slip joint stays clean.[/FONT]

Well...I just want to prevent it from breaking. If it won't hurt anything I'm just going to leave it like it is anyways.
