OK- one more question...again, sorry if this was asked already. Is there an adapter/interface for the factory 6 disc stereo to play sirius thru it? I don't want an auxilliary tuner on the dash, and I have my NAV/GPS system mounted in the pull down storage compartment already.I'd like to keep the 6 disc changer if possible and like the factory look, I have plans to add an amp to the factory system (PAC makes an interface for aftermarket amps to factory systems {model OEM-2}) but I really would love to be able to control Sirius thru the factory tuner. I went to the Ford dealer and they looked at me like I had 3 heads. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I have the XM Delphi tuner hooked up with the FM modulator. Both are remotely mounted so they don't take up dash space. I use the wireless remote on the Delphi tuner to control it.
Kind of a pain and not nearly as nice as if it were all integrated into the radio in the dash. I didn't know what else to do, short of replacing the whole in dash assembly with an aftermarket radio.
This one is for the newer radios with the CAN BUS system.
Notice you can add additional adapters to make additional inputs.
I used a FRD04-AUX along with a Harman-Kardon Drive n Play iPod controller to provide a satellite auxiliary input and an iPod input into the radio. Just push AUX and control everything else from the Harman-Kardon interface and the Sirius radio. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the info guys. What I am TRYING to do, which I think is becoming more of a "pie in the sky" idea at this point, is to control a sirius tuner through the factory radio, not just have the audio come thru, but to actually change the channels, etc. as if it was a factory installed option.I don't want any aftermarket tuners, etc. mounted in/on the dash if I can help it. I hate the way it looks. Ford should get their act together and offer Sirius with all their radios, not just a few select models!

The pin-outs on the Sirius radios that Ford offers from the factory may ALSO match the Super Duty, but the factory just may decide they don't want to sell them in their full line of vehicles. Let me do some research and if you don't mind buying another factory radio to get what you want, I might be able to find something for you.
