Power Stroke Conversion

I have a 78 F-250 4X4 With a blown 351M in it has anyone or is there anyone out there that has done a conversion and if so how difficult is it and what is involved?
Can the c-6 auto still be used with the default set up?
Can you stay with the original gas tank?
wiring, motor, mounts, cooling. those sort of things
Thanks
David

Power Stroke Conversion

Can the c-6 auto still be used with the default set up? Nope
Can you stay with the original gas tank? Probably
wiring Nope you will need the complete engine wiring harness and pcm for the motor to run

motor mounts Very Doubtfull,

cooling Maybe if you have a 4 core radiator

Consider a cummins 5.9 I think it would be much easier, only problem would be the tranny or consider a 6.9/7.3 with mechanical injection which requires no wires to run

I've never heard of a powerstroke conversion. I agree though, Cummins is the much better choice - no wires and computer to run will save a BIG headache.
