Please Help, Electric Problem
DOES ANY ONE HAVE A PIC OF THE WIRES ON THE FENDER SOLINOID, PREVIOUS OWNER SWITCHED THEM UP, WITH CHARGED BATTERYS, MY STARTER CLICKS AFTER 5 SECONDS WITH THE IGNITION IN THE ON POSITION, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS GOING ON OR HOW TO FIX IT, iM TRYING TO GET IT GOING TODAY. tHANKS,, BATTERYS READ 12.1, AND 11.1 WITH KEY TURNED TO START POSITION. RUCK SAT FOR 11/2, AND WOULD LIKE TO TURN IT OVER TODAY. I AM MECHANICALLY INCLINED, REBUILT MY 90 GT FROM GROUND UP, JUST A NEW BEE WITH DESEL

I don't think the clicking you are hearing is your starter. That is probably the glow plug controller. It should start clicking after 5-15 seconds depending on how cold it is where you are. Starts clicking when the "wait to start" light goes out on the dash board.
I am afraid I can't help with the wiring except to volunteer to take a picture of mine (91 F250) and email it to you. I am also new to diesels and have ordered a copy of Haynes Diesel engine repair manual. Several folks told me it was quite good. Should be in later this week.
