Tires
Good in the wet, snow, sand, off road, high speed highway, smooth ride, handling, dry traction, long lasting ect, ect ????
Once you decide what they must do, then run the ideas you get, by Tire Racks evaluations & see if you think they'll measure up to your needs & wants.
I like Michelin, but then my diving needs/wants, may not be the same as yours!!!!
So give us some more clues on your needs & wants.
kc78,
If you drive your Ranger in snowy Colorado, then I'd look into some Cooper Weather Master S/T-2 tires for the Winter. I've got their 235/75-15s on black steel rims. They do a great job in the snow & ice of MI !
Then during the other three seasons of non-snowy weather, I run BFGoodrich TKOs (225/70-14) on the OE aluminum 'deerhoof' wheels....
Good Luck!
