no muffler

Will ataking out the muffler and leaving the cat mess up the performance of a 1990 f250 with a 5.0 liter?

mess up? nah. a lot of guys just run straight pipe from the cat back.

i doubt it's going to be much louder. Those cats choke the motor pretty bad. Shouldn't make a difference with or without muffler.
