As memory serves me.....
Look real closely at the firewall side and you will see a large thin nut threaded on the pump....just loosen it (after a liberal saturation of penetrating oil) and is should come off
the pump can then be removed from the cab

also how do i get the head of the pump off? the part you put yout foot on? thanks I did not have time or lighting to look when i was after a pulley. thanks

The rubber bellows and the hinged sheet metal come out fine after you take off the exterior nut.
Does anyone repo the rubber bellows assembly for this foot pump? Mine's about shot after 52 years. You'd think they'd last longer than that...
