PIE Help
So I received my FRD04-aux and blitzsafe installed it all no problems. Later to find out that I received the PIE for the 05 mustang with newer firmware after specifically requesting the PIE with the older firmware that doesnt cause problems on F series. Anyway, the vendor I purchased this from suggests contacting PIE to have them send me the correct piece. Has anyone done this. From what I read I get a circuit that solders to the main board back from PIE and not a whole new board. Problem is if thats the case, I dont think I have the soldering skills to put the new circuit in. Has anyone been through this process and have any insight on it?

I had the same problem. The factory radio would switch back to AM/FM after a couple of minutes. All you hav to do is replace a chip on the board, no soldering. You gently pry out the existing chip and carefully insert the new replacement.
