Carb adjustments
I have a 300 6cyl with a single barrel (Carter) carb,just wandering the best way to set the card for performance and mileage, any tips would be great

If you have not made any other engine modifications, set it up to factory specs.

One thing to be careful of: Be sure that you are looking at the correct specs for you exact carb. I noticed when rebuilding mine that there are considerable differences in the float setting year to year.

what are the factory specs?. The motor has been rebuilt, I have a k&n filter and mild porting & polishing .

You will have to look in a manual to get the float height and float drop, etc., for your year truck.
