U-joints
My truck has a 4" lift. I was wondering if anybody here has had any problems with the first u-joint going bad on the rear driveshaft, and if so what is a remedy for the problem.

I have a 2001 F250 4x4 with Skyjacker 6inch lift. I also run with the predator Tuner, tuned to the 80Hp setting. I have not had any problems with any u-joints (Yet!), but have gone thru 1 transmission so far. I have also replaced the carrier bearing on my rear split shaft, and added extra shims to the carrier bearing so theat the drive shaft is straight. I did not like the vibration on hard take-offs.
