steering stablizer

now i know just about everyone on this website has a lift on their truck. i just recently put a 4" skyjacker lift on my 88 bronco with 5.0L, and i do not have a steering stabilizer. my question is: How does the steering feel on a lifted truck without a stabilizer because mine feels funny and im tryin to cross out some other factors as to what is causing my steering be funny.

just to let u know, after installing the lift, i DID go and get my truck aligned. and i have posted on here before about my camber being messed up, sometimes my tires would look like /---\ and sometimes they would look like
l---\ . but i have replaced my ball joints not even a year ago, so thats why i am posting this question. thanks for your help.

Thats just the TTB front axles nature. Getting it aligned is a work of art, and keeping it that way is an even bigger task. Im guessing you used all new bushings for your lift, including pivot bushings?

Jack your front end up and put a big pipe under each wheel one at a time and have someone pull up on the pipe to move your wheels up and down whille you whatch. This will show you what parts are moving and allowwing /---\ or |---\ to happen. If the parts are suppose to move in those ways then you have no problem, but if you find parts that are moving that should not be moving then those are what you need to replace. As for the stabalizer I would say definetly this is needed and will make your truck drive much better.
