help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it won't start
i have a 86 f150 4x4 5.0fi, and it turns over but it does not fire, or even try to. i ran the codes and got a 21 and 24. it is so windy and cold outside, and i cant get it in the garage myself. recently i would start it and after a couple seconds later it would shut off like somebody turned the key off, and then i could restart it and it would run fine. if anybody has any suggestions i would really be thankfull , so i dont get wind burn and snot in the beard out there.

well i noticed the rear tank was empty, but the front tank had fuel, so i dumped a can of gas in the rear tank and it started. a few weeks ago it seemed like it was pumping fuel into the rear tank. does that mean my front fuel pump is bad ? thanks.

Try putting your fuel tank selector on the front tank, and turn the key to the on position (not start position). You should hear the tank from the front tank turn on for about 1 second. This is probably the easiest test to see if it is at least turning on, so you won't get any frostbite
