question on an 01 taurus electrics
the girl across the street has an 01 taurus. last week i noticed the interior lights on. next morning, as she was going out, i told her about it. something is not rite, and i had to pull the fuse. the door ajar light on the dash is always on, and the interior will not go out. does anyone know where the door switches are located on these cars?? she has no money for a dealer repair, and i would like to help her if i can.

If they are anything like the trucks, spray the door latches down with WD-40 to clean the contacts. You can't really see the contacts, but just use the red tube on the can and give things a bath inside the door.
