locking hubs
Just put new brakes on the front of my 79 F150, and had to break the locking hub to get it off to turn the rotor.Where should I look to find a new set of these? I just need the outside piece where you lock the hubs in. Also, what brand do you suggest?Any info is greatly appreciated!!!

Break the locking hubs?! ouch, that's a no no. I would definately recomend Warn,(chances are that's what it had), but if you going with just one part you'll probably have to stick with the same manufacturer as the ones that broke.

If you are talking about the plastic **** that you turn, well then my friend you are fighting a lossing battle. this happened to me and I couldn't find them anywhere, not even specialty shops or dealer. I had to go to a junkyard and take them off of an old truck there.

The casing that holds the **** you turn is what I had to break to get off. Two of the screws that hold it on were rounded off, and have you ever trying to drill these???? Impossible!
