Today I was in at my dealer and purchased some of the additive for the cooling system. When I asked about the test strips, they did not have them and said that they do not stock them? Is this normal for a Ford dealer? Where is a good place that you recommend that I get some? I have only had my new to me 1999 for a few weeks and trust that the dealer checked this before I bought it. When would you recommend that I give it another test? I guess first I have to get some strips. But would you say I should do it right away or wait?

Hello Iceman31 I buy my test supplies from are local International dealer , Once you get a test kit, I would test it no less then 2 times a year . It only takes about 15 minutes to complete the test, and i would do the test as soon as you can. Also, It mignt be a good ideal to drain your cooling system and start fresh, That way you know what you have, Good luck.
Iceman where are you located I just bought some test strips and additive that I do not need. Going to be shipping it back to the vendor on monday. If interested let me know
I went to order some from dieselshop.com but it says that they only ship within the USA. Does anyone know where I can get these from that will ship to Canada?
Try www.napaonline.com and enter 4107 into their napa P/N search block.. These are the ones i use. They are easier to read than some of the others i have used, like FleetGuard.
