Question

today i decided to put my edge programmer on xtreme setting and see what it can do it stated out with black smoke then gray then white/gray. why would it change like that? i do have a k&n open filter

black smoke is partially burned fuel, as its gettting lighter colored its burning more of the fuel as the boost levels come up.

so this is normal to go from blk to white?

yeah its just burning more of the fuel so its getting lighter color. alot of times its hard to see what color the smoke really is while your driving, its probably a light grey haze. when im really running the truck really hard i get that light grey haze too.

if its blue it will be blowby, i dont think the edge is capable of cranking cylinder pressures that high. it usually takes custom programming and bigger injectors to have to start worring about that
