4x4 Transfer case motor shot??

4x4 Transfer case motor shot??
My '93 won't shift into 4x4. When I press the button absolutely nothing happens (no clicking or anything).
I accessed the shift control computer behind the passenger kick panel and it's self test says it's OK. Using an ohmmeter I confirmed that the dashboard switch is OK, and that the vehicle speed sensor is ok. I also confirmed the grounds are ok and that the motor and computer are getting power.
I also tried tapping the motor with a hammer and that didn't do jack.
Using the ohmmeter and checking the motor position sensors, the sensors that are supposed to be infinite ohms with the truck in 2wd indeed are, but the sensors that are supposed to be 0 ohms are in fact about 200 ohms. However I'm not sure how significant that really is.
What's my next step here? I'm thinking at this point to replace the motor, which I think comes as an assembly with new position sensors but I'm not certain about that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I did try a search first on this. -Chris
