This isn't a question. But I sold my 77 s/b 2x4 for a 1989 F250 4x4.I got $1000 extra. This newer truck just don't have the inside cab room as my 77 did.Theres no room for cup holders can't even find a decent spot for a CB.I did get a real good deal, but after a few months im starting to give myself a few good kicks in the butt.Should have never done it
I made the same mistake with the same results in 87, I bought an 85, had it for 10 years and never liked it. the cab is smaller, the interior is all plastic, damn even the shifter sucks, it's the wrong shape and the "H" pattern is screwy, I got used to it because it was my truck but everytime a I lent it out they couldn't find 2nd gear, it was like the "H" pattern was tipped to the left. It also had an EFI 302 that wouldn't allow you to bog the engine off the line, so if you were in snow the damn thing would spin tire trying to start off, the module crapped out twice in the time I had it and left me DEAD on the road, that had never happened to me in my entire life on anything else I owned. The only thing I can give it credit for is I used it for 10 years,180,000 miles and gave it to my kid, without any major work. But the day I gave it away I knew I'd never buy that style truck again unless they ran out of OLD ones.
That hasn't been my experience. My '69, '79, '77, '84, '85, and '92 have all had plenty of cab room for me and my stuff and I'm 6' tall and over 200lbs. And I like accessories. Now the '62 is another story, nothing like driving with your knees stuck in the dash, LOL.

Your 62 is a lincoln compared to my 46, is the seat back in your 62 overly stuffed? You may want to have a thinner seatback made.
