the best thing to do is get it into the run position...if u can do that find the tiny hole on the column under the lock cylinder and push the pin as far as possible...lastly, pull the entire lock cylinder out and replace it
i am not positive but if u try drilling out the pin holding in the cylinder it still wont come out so it is very important to get it into the run position so try pulling pushing etc or whatever means necessary to get it into the run position
I have should have metioned that I already replaced the lock cylinder. The key will turn the truck on and even crank it but when you turn it back to take it out it just won't go all the way back. It will turn the truck off though.
