After market windshield question

Friday the 13th sure lived up to its name for me.On my way to work my windshield was struck by something making a huge bullseye along with two cracks.Its going to be replaced Monday. Ive heard stories about the 97-04 windshields leaking on the drivers side corner near the dash.Is it the factory windshield or after market windshields that leak?

I assume if the winshield was aftermarket and put in on a friday afternoon it would probably leak. I think it is some guys with factory that have a leak problem, however I know myself I never have.

The leak is a problem with the factory glass and not usually a problem with replacement glass. i had it in a navigator and a 99 f-150 from the factory.
