Wiring

I have a 1993 Bronco 5.8L, and everytime i turn my headlights on now the door chime turns on and doesnt stop dinging till you turn the lights off. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a wiring diagram or have some tips on how to get it to stop.

Chiltons or Haynes manuals both have color coded wiring diagrams. It could be the switch also, Ford is notorious for shorted or burned out switchs. I had a 92 crown vic that did the exact same thing, and it doesn't look much diffrent than my 93 bronco's. I had to eventually by a brand new switch.

Thanks for the info snake1979 i have one more question is there a online chiltons book or guide that u know of or would i have to go pick one up at an auto parts store.

I think Haynes has an online trouble shooting guide, but I doubt either of the manuals will show the complete wiring diagram. They don't cost that much, 10 bucks, maybe 15. I prefer haynes, but I know some that prefer chiltons. Its up to you.
