anyone ever have this problem?
Hi all,
I have an 04 FX4 Supercab. For a little while now, maybe about once every 40-50 times I start the truck, it sounds exactly like the truck is already running and the starter gives out that loud grinding sound. When I try again, the truck starts fine. Any ideas?
Could it be that the key is not in the ignition all the way, or maybe the solenoid on the starter is bad, or the starter has a bad knotch in it? I don't get it.
Truck has about 34,00 miles, no problems besides this recent one.
