wheels

i just purchased a 1986 f250 with a freshly rebuilt 460 that runs smooth as silk. i have 8 bolt hubs and i am wondering if i can put late model f250 wheels on my rig? what years wheels will bolt right up? i want to upgrade from the boring steel wheels that came on the truck on a budget and i think some stock take off's from a late model would be sweet.

You can use 8 lug ford wheels from trucks up to 1998. In 1999 they switched to a metric lug pattern. You can also use some GM and Dodge wheels, as the bolt pattern is the same, you just need to check the diameter of the center hub hole, as I believe some of the dodge wheels have a smaller hole.
