vin#s sequence
where do you find the rear end id# on the vin #, looking online for a 5.4 a/t 4x4 with 3:73 gears. been looking for a truck for 3-4 weeks and all that i have found thus far have been 3:55s. this site has my head spinning with numbers but a ton of good info to be learned. thanks too all

wish i knew but you can look at the rear end and it should have a tag on it that says what gears the truck has. also the window sticker will say this 2. wish i could have helped more. and if all else fails when u buy a truck have the dealer put the gears u want in before u pick it up.
