Which piston rings should I use?
I'm doing a basic re-ring job. It's a 351M and will be occasionaly used for towing. Should I get the moly rings or iron? Does one break in better then the other? Thanks Jeff

Iron rings break in more quickly but don't last as long. Moly rings take longer to break in but also last longer. It's a good idea to keep "long" in perspective however. A good set of iron rings with the appopriate finish on the cylinders will easily go 100K miles. Moly rings will last longer and take more abuse but they need a different cylinder finish than iron rings.
