axle seals were leaking on them. seals are in, new e brake pads, turned rotors, rear disc pads.....So hopefully when i get out at a rest area to drain the lizard, my truck wont roll away again. No ebrake on a stick isnt much fun........
Hey there CWT, I was wondering did you do the work yourself or have the stealer do it. I just found out my axle seal is leaking on the right rear. They said it would cost between $200 and $400 (ballpark figure over the phone) depending on if they have to change the parking brake shoes. And oh let's see the dealer doing it, I'm betting on shoe replacement. I'm not sure if that is for both sides or just the one side that is leaking. So I am wanting to know how much did it cost you and how/where did you have it done. Thanks
