hard starts and bogging
Hi everyone on my 79 f 150 im experienceing it bogging out from a dead stop, it lessens the longer i drive my truck. Im also experinceing hard starting when the truck is warm. The starter is like two weeks old. Im wondering could all this be happening because of my timing? If not what else could be wrong? Thank you

If you have the 351M/400, could be timing advanced a little to far for the start problem, this would be most noticable when warm. Check for vacuum leaks, this could cause the bog (lean mix), most noticable when cold especially if you don't run the pre-heated air intake.
