hey everybody,
I think i may have seen this type form before but The question I have is it possible to put the two tone (think maybe two part) 99 or newer 4x4 front bumper on a 97 F-150 2wd? I've looked around but really don't know what all goes into the newer model bumper, can i just swap the bumper, someone told me i may have to switch out the whole front end, wasent sure why that would be................. just wondering if anyone knows from experience,
also around how much did it cost for the whole setup.
Thanks for your time!
Justin

The whole front end, grill, bumper, bumper braces, upper pad, lower valance and the fog lights. Like on this 97 I just finished. You can go with out the fogs and tow hooks. And all the parts are avalible aftermarket for around $300 to $400 bucks.
Oh yea, the FORD emblem is bigger so you'll need a one of those..
Do you use all the same mounting brackets or does stuff have to be welded. I found the bumper and all the other crap on ebay to change the front. I have a 97 f150 4X4 and didn't know if i could just take the old one off and put the new one right back on?
Before you buy on ebay, check around locally for a suppier. Stop and ask at a body shop about where to find aftermarket fenders. It'll be a whole lot cheaper ( plus no shipping charge) than the stuff I've seen on ebay.
