Wipers not returning, stop when switch is turned off.
Hi Folks, My wipers stop in the position there are in when the switch is turned off. They do not continue through the cycle to the bottom and then stop. I replaced the 2 speed switch with an intermitent and still get the same thing.
Is this a switch problem or somewhere else in the wiper system?

Generally speaking the park mode is intergral to the wiper motor. That is, when you shutoff your wipers, you kill power to the motor. The motor is supplied with constant power to park the wipers after you shut them off. Check your plug to the motor and insure that there is constant power to the motor. If you cannot find constant power, when the igniton is on, then you have found your problem. Resupply power to the appropriate wire. If you do find power to the motor then you need a new wiper motor. There is a broken switch internal to the motor.
