Error Code 1443 on '97 Ranger 4cyl
I have been intermittantally getting an error 1443 on my '97 Ranger, It has to do with the vapor canister. It will go days and sometimes a week or two before setting the code again. I thought at first that it might be a kinked hose as the hose assy with the relays was hanging down and seemed to be kinking the hoses. It corrected that and no light for about a week and a half and then "Poof check engine" again. Anyone have any ideas, I would prefer not to shotgun the fix by replacing the canister and relays if this is a common problem (Kinda like the dome light).
