Light switch

I've got an '05 Lariat. You know how we're too dumb to have things labeled what they are anymore, we have to have universal symbols (e.g. the McDonalds point-of-sale terminal with the pictures or hamburgers and french fries). I got a question about a symbol on my truck's headlight switch. I guess I'm just not bright enough to figure out what its trying to tell me. The light switch has the auto on lamps and you pull the switch out for fog lamps and it illuminates the fog light symbol to yellow/orange. On the rotary light switch, there is a symbol at the bottom of the switch that has what looks like a fog light symbol with a small arrow pointing down. What is this? Take a look at your switch and let me know. Thanks - DH

That symbol is just the way Ford tells you to pull the **** down/out in order to turn the fog lights on.

You must be able to talk ,read and understand Ford language to know this.. They do this so only Ford owners will be able to turn on the fog lamps.. There is not even any extra charge for the triangle symbol..
