03 Aviator window

The wifes 03 Aviator driver side rear window won't go down. I guess being stuck in the closed position is better than the alternative. Any idaes?

We have had issues with both drivers side windows on our 03 Aviator. The rear window just needed to be adjusted and it was a quick fix by the dealer. The drivers window needed a new actuator, and of course they had to order parts, days later we got it back.

We got the old "first time this ever happened " routine from the dealer.

There was a service bulliten released on this problem for the 04 Explorer (I know as mine experienced this). As I understood it, it was a bad batch of motors recieved from the supplier. It's possible your 03 was also included in this batch.
