air valve stems
hey i just got new rims and new lug nuts and air stems and was wondering how the valve stems fit into the rim, will the tire place im going to tomorrow have to put them in the rim, or can i just force them in myself, or do i need a special tool because i don't want to break anything trying to do it myself. ?

If you have the proper tool, it's a simple job. But without the tool you might scratch your new rims or simply get frustrated.
I'd let the tire guys do it. They have the proper tool and it's second nature to them. They do it dozens of times every day.

As long as they are nothing fancy and will not fit the rim, the tire place has always put them in for me. I haven't seen a tire store yet that doesn't install new ones every tire change.
