off road stuff

i think i may do some mild off roading with my bII also to make it alittler cooler looking i want som things too i want to get some rpices and stuff to see the best deal things i want would be

a light bar
exuast ( muffler only )
good tires that fit a 2" lift
and i need some opinions of the accel spark control modual that attaches to the distributar to gian hp with that f ne thing up or is it some thing that would be joke like the turbanter and steal horsepower instead of add it?
thanks alot

Have you posted the year of your B2 as yet? If it's a 2.9, there's no need to "update" the ignition system. It's works fine stock.

For the exhaust, I cut the flange off of the cat on mine, stuck a cheap turbo muffler and tailpipe on it. It now exits out the passenger side ahead of the rear wheel. Works great for wheeling.

With a 2" lift, you should be able to fit 31s on it, possibly with some minor rubbing. You can trim the wheel wells to help this.

If you plan on going anywhere other than basic trails, I would highly recommend a rear locker of some sort - the cheapest being welding it. You'll go lots further with both rear wheels spinning.

I wheeled my B2 for a year with 31s at stock height. It's surprising how capable these little rigs are with a little help!

i think the law here is you need to have the tail pipe past the last window of the truck so the side exuast is out although it is a cool idea also since this truck is going to be my dialy driver im not looking to weld up the diff and what the modual dose is not to update the system its just add horsepower like the msd coil im getting im sure there no prblem with it stock but you could gain hp with that modual i think it times when the advance and retard of sparking occurs for more torque and horse power differently most lilkey at a slight expence to fuel mileage

Light bar where? On top or on the front by the bumper? For exhaust, you can get Flowmaster's on ebay fairly cheap. A nice sounding muffler is Dynamax's ultra-flow bullet, they sound pretty mean, especially if you have a Catco catyltic converter on them as well. If you want to upgrade ignition, you can get a MSD Blaster coil for the Ford TFI or whatever it's called. Another thing you could do is MSD 6-al box along with your coil and upgrade to 8.8 wires and nice spark plugs. K&N filter is another thing you could add, but make sure you're not going to lock up the engine if you drive through water.

I've only seen one Bronco II with the roof-mount lightbar. I've looked for them for mine too. Anybody have any info on these? Thanks.
