F-250 mirrors

Does anyone know if it is possible to make the pullout mirrors on a F-250 go in further? There is room left in the sliding arms, but I do not know what the inside looks like. If I could pick up this distance on both sides, it will go in my garage better.

not sure if you can make them go in farther, but it may help folding the mirror in, at least on the drivers side, before pulling in???

I don't think they go in any further but I plan on pulling in the drivers side going in/out of garage after I swap my paddle mirrors with my new TT mirrors I got last week. I also got the ones that flip/flop in both directions just in case

Arrg, that should have been flip/fold in both directions but you get the idea.
