I pull a 5ver that weighs 8900lbs. at 1st I did it with a 5.4, it seamed ok at first until I started climbing hills and mountains, the gas milage dropped off and so did the speed.
You probably got what it takes to climb mountains comfortly with a 11,000 lbs. I don't know about the legal end of that is.
Another thing to think about how tall you truck is, because you need it to ride level and the trailer level too, with 4to6inch clearence between the 2 on top of the p/u bed, depending whay kind of terrain you travel on, like going across the slope of a racetrack from the outside to the lower of the track surface. The landgeer will scape on the top of the hill and the very nose of the trailer will hit the top of the bed as you start to levelout.Camping in the infield is best!
