Cab Replacement
I'm thinking about buying a lightly rolled over 2002 F250 Super Cab. Pretty much all of the cab exterior panels are damaged and the driver's side pillar is bent, so I figure a cab swap is the way to go. I've got a couple of questions:
1. Will a Super Cab from any Super Duty truck ('99 or later F250 or 350) fit this '02?
2. I've read that lifting the cab is pretty straighforward, ie. undo six bolts to the frame and some wiring harnesses. Is this true? Does the engine/tranny have to come out to lift the cab?
Any advice from anyone else who has done this would be appreciated.

Lifting the cab off is not quite that easy but the engine and drive train do stay put. Getting all the wire n cables lose is the hard part.
Body panels are hard to find for all 97 and up Ford trucks, so I would find them before I bought the truck.
