07 Super Duty When When When???

Has anyone heard when Ford might start releasing information, or taking orders on the "so called redesigned" NEW 07 SD's??? I've been patiently waiting for Ford to catch up with the other majors to start including the little creature comforts that GM, and Dodge have had for a few years already, ie.(dual zone climate control, navagation systems, more comfortable seating, and folding rear crew cab seats.........etc etc). I sure hope they get it together this time or I will have to own a new GMC Sierra. Sorry Ford,........I've been more then loyal to u guys since 1979,..........and my 2001 F-250, V-10 needs to go this year!!!
Keeping my fingers crossed that truely New things are comming outta Ford this year???

Funny how what was not necessary in 1979 is now necessary in 2006.

You dont need a truck man you need a car, JK Man I remember when 250s off years ago were really work trucks. If you took a ride in a 250 off 1979 vs a superduty off 2006. Youd think you were driving a LIncoln. Personally I could care less for all the features you want. Ive had climate control in my car an it just one problem after another with it. My seats are real confortable.. I amvery happy with my truck. If you think GM trucks are so great youll think different when you have problems with them. A cousin off mine had one been 1 big problem from day one for him. Hes in a superduty now an loves it. He wouldnt go back to a GM truck again.

Sure, most trucks today are certainly comfy inside, are full of luxury features and give most owners the sweats when the thought of getting the dirty comes up BUT...

do you really think the trucks of 1979 are better trucks???? Sure the sheet metal is thicker but today's trucks are stronger, faster, smoother, more tow capable, more load carry capable, more flexible to their owner's needs and are tougher in many regards. The engines are more fuel efficient, a heck of a lot cleaner (if that matters to you), a virtually maintenance free for most of thier useful life. (unless you own an 03 6.0L )

I'll take an 2006 XL Super Duty for a work truck over any of the 70s stuff.

Gentlemen,...........I'm not disputing anything that you've said,.........the trucks are definitely better today then they were 25 years ago! Geeeeeeeze. I only stated that I've owned Several Ford trucks (new one every 4 years) since 1979, with one Dodge thrown in there for a bad experiance. I was just wondering Y it is taking Ford so long to catch up with the rest of the buliders when it comes down to interior comforts??? I still believe Ford trucks are the best trucks out there today, hands down! I do a lot of towing and driving,.............alot! and I feel if I'm going to be paying the same for a Ford truck or in most cases More for a Ford truck,......then Y can't they be equipped just as well as the competition??? Nothing wrong with wanting to be a little more comfortable,........is there?
Getting back to my original question??? When When When??? will the New SD's be available???

Now thats a good question. I doubt the Ford dealers know as well. My guess would be the middle off the year. But I heard it could be early next year. As far as GM trucks are concerned. Be prepared for less room in any cab confuguration. The superduties have more. Like I said. My cousin had one an I rode in it several times it felt more cramped to me. But Im a big guy so I notice differences in cab room pretty easily. I feel just as confortable in my superduty as I did in his truck. I didnt notice any difference in the ride, What I hated about the truck was the lower stance. Where Itravel with my truck Id rip the front bumper before I get on the road. Coming from a lower area to higher area to the road. Been there done that or should I say a neighbor off mine did. Tore the plastic cladding off the front bumper. My superduty cleared it with ease. The interior off the new superduty I have seen in spy pics. Looks very similar to the 150s interior.. So that should make you happy. GM trucks are nice but I believe the superduty is a better all around truck.
