Yeah, it sounds fake. That, or the guy is driving one sound proof vehicle to not hear the crash, and for the old ladies to be that mobile immediately after a crash like that.

 

Acording to snopes, they have not verfied the clip. They say that one guy called in and said that he was the guy that got beaten. On a different radio show a man called in and said that he was the one on the phone. Although they could not confirm that these were the real people.

I would agree there are no outside sounds, not even wind noise or an engine running. Plus that would have made front page news and there is no article to back it up. Also, there is no poliece report to go along with it.
