my 66 still has the original 170 6 cylinder..only overheats when goin down the highway or on it pretty good in the mud..i been collectin everything to completely redo it..351w..dana 44..sheetmetal..etc but..for now we still use it alot on our property doing things..i put a new water pump on it from auto zone but when i put it on..you can see the poor design they are..my question is..is there anyone who makes a high flow water pump for these?..ive already put a aluminum big blade fan on it to help..also thought maybe it was a cracked head or gasket but ran a check & everything is good..just want to keep her going till probly spring when i start the tear down..we use it all the time around the property & at times family & freinds mud boggin fun weekends.

I have put a three-row radiator on an EB, just get one for '64-'66 Mustang with the 200cid-six. The Proliance number is 43-3251. You may have do re-drill the mounting holes to center on the EB fan.
I have heard of bottom radiator hoses collapsing at higher RPM but you definately need a fan shroud...that would be my guess. How long has it been since you had that radiator rodded out?
