That is a cool looking V10. Wish mine looked that nice...
It is so positive that FORD is looking down the road and including the V10 in the concepts, but it would be even better to see FORD push the V10 in its current configuration. I still have a hard time with the fact that hardly NO V10's make it to the dealer lots...anyway...(ramble ramble…)

I compared pics side by side again and while I see no obvious styling cues between the two. The wheel arches are different etc. etc. They still seem to follow the same direction. Could be the thick body, high beltline and short greenhouse design all the while both wearing 24's.
I do prefer the Ford's design as the Terradyne of years past looks like something out of Hollywood's Robocop. But it sure has soem cool features.
On that note about the belt-lines...I can see how you would think that.
i would be very happy if they just stepped up and offered that motor now! some of those body items like the tilt nose sure would help out right now also.esp. when trying to get at those back spark plugs.
Blower wise a snip and splice the blower could work full time. 12 volts added to or a switched ground as it all depends on how the pcm engages the clutch drive, easier yet. out comes my mig welder and a few tacks .
ford is realy showing it commitment to flex full and keeping the v10 around with that baby .THANKS FORD if you are reading up here. you can put one in my 05 as a test bed sleeper . who would look at a 05 and think that motors under the hood.
It's not true. If it was, GM wouldn't be calling it the Camaro concept...
It's amazing how urban rumors start, ain't it?
I think the name "Beretta" might be a no-no for them, but not "Camaro" ...
Anyway, that's why it's called a "concept" - they may opt NOT to produce it, especially if that major investor gets his way with cost-cutting. Gee, I didn't think they could make Chevys any cheaper than they already did, but I guess they'll find a way. I know! Outsource all the engineering to India
there was this big thing with the labor union up in canada they had 5 years of their contracts left and gm closed the plant and stopped production in 2002. That was the only plant that the camaro and firebird were made at and the labor unions lawyers said that if chevy started making the camaro and firebird again it had to be in that plant. Chevy accepted those terms and then tore down the plant 6 months later. So they may call it Camaro but there is going to be a lawsuit involved or they will have to rehire any of those workers who want thier jobs back for the next five years.
